These flipbooks make me feel better. This is the first time I have taken the paper cut animations and made a physical object that can be purchased using the process. Everything is present and feels good to hold and experience, from the magnetic clasp to the thickness of the cardstock is all very tactile. The covers have been sanded several times and finished with 3 coats of Danish oil, feeling like an acorn you have had in your pocket for a month, polished by rubbing it with your thumb.

These flipbooks are machine cut, but hand finished and assembled. Covers are walnut and natural grain variation exists between books.
