These flipbooks are the physical manifestation of a series of animations all emanating from the same single drawing. The animations are an exercise in repeated practice, seeing variety can come from the same starting point.

There are 9 different animations in this release. Each animation has 16 copies, numbered on the back 1-16 per animation. One animation has 32 copies, because I didn't realize I had already printed it, since the stacks of paper all have the same starting face on them. That animation has printed numbers 1-32.

The flipbooks themselves are printed on acid-free card stock, cut and bound in a Brooklyn apartment by hand. The envelopes are store bought, but custom printed with embossing powder using a hand-carved stamp featuring the same face with which all the animations begin. The envelopes are also customized with glued pieces of string to tear open, because the envelopes are otherwise frustrating to open without scissors.

Flipbooks measure 2 7/8 inches wide by 2 1/8 inches tall. Thickness varies depending on number of stills in each animation. Envelopes measure 3 1/4 inchers wide by 4 1/2 inches tall.
